Camassia
Camassia Cusickii and Leichlini provide lots of starry flowers up long spikes and are best left undisturbed in very dry conditions you will need to provide water. They can be planted in grass but only if you can leave the foliage undisturbed. Quamash is excellent for planting in grass and under trees. They bring stately elegance to the border.
Planting Guide
Plant in full sun to partial shade; prefer moist but well drained humus rich soil that does not become waterlogged. Excellent cut flower very good for wild meadows. Quamash plant around 10 cm deep. Allow around 75-100 per sq meter. For the larger varieties allow around 50-75 per sq meter.
