Hymenocallis

Exotic and sweetly fragrant ismene make a wonderful pot plant for the conservatory, they can be planted outside but will require deep winter mulch. The flowers are cup shaped with a ring of narrow petals.

Planting Guide

Plant in moderately fertile moist well drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Protect from excessive wet when dormant. They prefer planting near a warm sunny wall. Plant around 5 cm deep
