Polygonatum or Solomon’s Seal are have elegant arching stems that have droplets of creamy white flowers that bring movement to the garden when they gently sway in the breeze. Polygonatum is an excellent Perennial Plant; give them a shady spot and let them wander through other plants to give even more interest. The flowers followed by small black fruits, no part of the plant should be eaten as it causes stomach upset.
Solomon’s Seal works well when planted with shade loving plants and Ferns, Brunnera “Forget me Not’s” or mixed with Hostas.
