One of the greatest things you'll discover in English woodlands. A stroll through the fresh green foliage of April and uncovering an endless carpet of little blue flowers. The soft scent coupled with the dappled light is a wonderful experience. It demonstrate how powerful naturalised flowers can be and how uplifting they are.
In the green bulbs are a great chance to plant true English Bluebells (hyacinthoides non scripta) during spring. The bulbs have already establish foliage and roots and can be planted in rich, well draining soil. Ideally in dappled light.
These bulbs are lifted by carefully cultivated stocks from UK and are only available in the UK.
It is illegal to lift bluebells from the wild as a protected plant.
