Allium Amethystinum Forelock Bulbs

Maroon-purple with silver-lilac tufts. Allium Forelock (Amethystinum) is a unique allium with wide globe-shaped long lasting flowers producing tufts or white at the tips of the flowers. The flowers appear similar to Sphaerocephalon at the early stages; as they develop the similarity ends as the flower develops. The stems are wiry and twisting then become strong and straight.
