Allium Atropurpureum Bulbs

Native to the Balkans, this heirloom variety will bring character and structure to the late spring and early summer garden. Particularly eye-catching planted in bold groups, this drumstick allium will also look exquisite scattered amongst grasses and low-growing hardy perennials in sunny borders and wild meadows where it will happily naturalise. Reminiscent of fireworks frozen mid-explosion, its blooms are fabulous featured in fresh and dried flower bouquets; they are also magnets for pollinators!
