Allium Cristophii (Albopilosum) Bulbs

Allium cristophii features large spherical heads loosely packed with small starry lilac florets with a metallic sheen, gracefully held at the top of sturdy stems.
Also known as Star of Persia or Allium albopilosum, this heirloom variety will make a statement in the late spring and early summer garden. Particularly striking planted in bold groups, this prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit recipient will also look spectacular naturalised amongst grasses and low-growing hardy perennials in sunny borders and wild meadows. Reminiscent of fireworks captured mid-explosion, its blooms are fabulous featured in fresh and dried flower bouquets; they are also magnets for pollinators!
