These spectatular alliums stand on tall stems giving height to your borders. They bloom in early summer and act as beacons to pollinators providing them with much needed food even through the long dry periods we've been enduring.
Planting alliums is simple. Plant them 15-20cm deep in freely draining soil, ideally in a sunny position. The strong stems are very tough, and the depth of the bulbs help anchor the swaying heads but some shelter from high winds can be useful.
