The exotic looking chequered bells of the Fritillaria Meleagris are a stunning sight in April and May. These lovely maroon to lilac-pink occasionally white flowers are also known as the Snake’s Head Fritillary. They are one of our favourite spring bulbs. Always plant on arrival.
