Dracunculus Vulgaris

Large carmine flower with a deep purple-black spadix. Dracunculus is one for the back of the border as the flower develops it gives off a strong unpleasant odour which usually only lasts for a day or two. Give it a year to settle and you will be rewarded with a real talking point of a plant.
