Soft pink coloured spikes. Byzantinus communis Italicus is a sub-specie of Byzantinus, and a paler version of the true species. Ideal for planting through mixed grasses in the wildflower meadow for a natural look or mix though hardy perennial plants. These early flowering gladioli are fully hardy but may need a little mulch over winter in extremely cold areas.
