Tulip Menton is a symphony of colors. The Tulip Menton showcases a delightful blend of soft peach, creamy apricot, and delicate rose hues. Its petals boast a subtle play of shades that create an alluring visual spectacle.

A single late tulip bulb, Menton is spring flowering. Towards the end of the tulip season in April. A classic single flower on a tall stem adds vertical elegance to your garden beds and borders, creating a captivating focal point.

These tulip bulbs look brillant when bulk planting. It’s always a pleasure to see a whole bed of the same tulips. But they will lend themselves to dramatic and bold colour combinations with tulips or narcissus with a similar flowering time. Try Tulip Ayaan or something similarly dark.

Planting instructions

  • Tulip bulbs are autumn planting, ideally around 4 to 6 weeks before the ground freezes.
  • Choose a sunny or partially shaded spot in your garden with well-drained soil. Tulips can grow in either semi shade or full sun positions. Planting under deciduous trees can produce a wonderful dappled light on the flowers
  • Prior to planting, ensure the soil is loosened and enriched with organic matter. Tulips prefer slightly acidic to neutral soil pH levels. They will grow in any soil type
  • Dig a hole 10-15cm deep and space the tulip bulbs 10cm apart. You should be able to plant 70 bulbs to a square metre.
  • After planting, thoroughly water the area to settle the soil and provide moisture to the bulbs. However, avoid overwatering during winter. Be sure to regularly check you pots. Compost can dry out very quickly and stunt your tulip growth.

In spring, the Tulip Menton will reward you with its stunning blossoms. Enjoy their vibrant colors and graceful presence.
