Tulip Bastia Bulb

£0.67

Delivery: From end August

Tulip Bastia sports fully double, cup-shaped golden yellow flowers flushed with mahogany red and adorned with a delicate, crystal-like fringe.

Also known as a Crispa tulip, this late-flowering variety will set beds, borders and containers ablaze as its flowers gradually open to reveal their flamboyant colouring and exquisitely serrated edges; since no two flowers are the same, they can sometimes be a solid mahogany red. Particularly eye-catching planted in bold groups, tulip Bastia also mixes well with a wide range of spring flowering bulbs and plants; try drifting through yellows and reds for a warm display, or try interspersing with blues and purples for a contrasting colour scheme.

Quintessential symbols of spring renowned for their excellent vase life, tulips will be sure to brighten up any corner of the home with their long-lasting blooms.
