Tulip Saxatilis

Tulip Saxatilis is a pretty botanical tulip; star-shaped lilac-pink with a yellow center, ideal for the rockery, containers or the front of the border. A lovely Heirloom variety from Crete dating from around 1825 it has also been listed as a Bakeri variety.
Botanical or Specie tulips are perfect for naturalising, planted where they can be left undisturbed where they will provide years of spring colours.
