Blue leaves edged yellow which changes to cream. Hosta Aristocrat is a slow growing medium sized Hosta excellent for a shady border, the leaves will provide months of colour, perfect for mixing with ferns or low growing hardy perennials or try planting with spring flowering bulbs like Alliums.

  • Plant Hostas in moist, fertile soil that is well drained. They like shelter from cold, drying winds and prefer full or partial shade. Hostas dislike drought and like mulch in spring to conserve their moisture. Dead-head the faded flower spikes and add some compost to the soil before planting.
