Artemisia Dracunculus (French Tarragon)

French tarragon is one of the best forms of tarragon with its distinctive anise-like flavor. Artemisia Dranunculus is a more woody herb with long narrow pointed aromatic leaves. This half-hardy herb will need winter protection perfect for growing in pots. The flavor can develop as the season develops sweeter in the spring in late summer the flavor deepens and becomes stronger. A lovely herb can be used in soups, dressings and with poultry and fish.
