Veronica has tall narrow spires of dense flowers that give height and architecture to the border; it breaks up all the round shapes that usually occupy the border. The leaves are deep green the flower goes up the stem giving them a long flowering period Veronicas are good for cut flowers.
Try planting with, Lavender, Nepeta, Rudbeckia, Heleniums, Achillea, and Geraniums for a tapestry of colour, especially in the gold, lilac and purple colours with a hint of lime green from Euphorbias. Veronica are attractive to Bees.
