Papaver (Poppy) Patty's Plum

Plum with a dark aubergine centre. Patty’s Plum has lush flowers. Oriental Poppies have beautiful large voluptuous papery flowers. Poppies have a short flowering season but cut them back hard and they will give a second flush in September. Supplied in a 9cm pot. Resistant to Rabbits, Deer and Slugs.

  • Plant these lovely perennial poppies (or papaver) in deep, fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. Once the first flush is over, cut back hard to provide a second, later flush. After flowering,cut down to ground level. Poppies are best planted at the back of the border and may need staking.
