  • Phlox are excellent herbaceous hardy perennial plants with woody stems. Perfect for the garden border and cut flowers. They are usually scented and attractive to pollinators.

  • Plant phlox in moist, fertile soil in full sun or partial shade. The flower colour is best if grown in light shade. Provide a little mulch in spring and water when dry in summer. When flowering is finished, cut down to around 2-5 cm from ground level.
