Purple and white standard the falls are pure white edged in violet-purple. Iris Germanica Stepping Out is a sight to behold and has been a top favourite since its introduction in 1964. The large flowers are held above sword shaped leaves. bearded iris love the sun best not planted in the shade. Cut down after flowering for a second flush in mid summer.
