Soft yellow.  Phlomis Russeliana bears its flowers in whorls of hooded flowers up the tall strong leafy stems in intervals, the leaves are clump forming silvery-green and hairy,  a wonderful architectural plant that provides months of colour form the flower bulbs to the flowers and then to the magical winter form of the dried flower heads, excellent planted in bold groups, or mixed with hardy perennial plants and grasses, also good for coastal planting.
