Already named Cavolo Nero or Tuscan Black Palm in 1885, curly kale Neri de Toscana (Black Tuscany) is a unique Italian variety producing long, tongue-shaped, dark blue-green leaves. Delicious in soups and stir-fried dishes, this wonderful ornamental kale will enhance any ornamental gardens, pots and containers. As soon as the plants are fully grown, they have a palm-like shape.
Sow in a seedbed or directly in soil block or pots. Keep soil moist. Transplant around June/July in well worked and fertilized soil.
