Pronto is a clear improvement to the regular Rucola; the leaf is deeper and more finley lobbed. A very attractive and fast growing variety with a nutty, pleasantly strong, light peppery flavour.
Can be cultivated in the winter months in large pots indoors. Sow directly in the soil in rows. Germinates quickly. Sow at intervals of 2 weeks to ensure a regular fresh harvest. Harvest the leaves once they are 10-15cm long.
