Crocus Tommasinianus Bulb

Delivery: From end August

Crocus Tommasinianus produces large, lilac to purple flowers, adorned with a delicate white base and contrasting orange stamens.

Also known as the woodland crocus, this award-winning botanical variety is a fantastic way to bring a welcome touch of colour to the garden after a dreary winter. Native to Eastern European woodlands, crocus Tommasinianus will happily naturalise scattered amongst other early-flowering bulbs in garden borders, meadow grasses, rockeries or light woodland edges; it is also suitable for container planting.

Crocus Tommasinianus will provide a much needed source of nectar to pollinating insects.
