Tulip Ayaan

Tulipa Ayaan features deep wine flowers with a dark velvety sheen, held at the top of sturdy stems above broad lance-shaped leaves. Flowering from late april onwards, this variety is a fantastic way to extend the spring season. Particularly eye-catching planted in bold groups, tulip Ayaan also mixes well with a wide range of bulbs and plants in sunny beds, borders and containers; try interlacing it with a selection of orange, maroon, purple and red flowers for a dramatic display. Tulip Ayaan was named in honour of renowned feminist, activist and politician Ayaan Hirsi Ali; we are proud to be one of the first to offer it!
