Cyclamineus daffodils or narcissus are the smaller cousins of the taller varieties, as the name implies they resemble cyclamen with their lovely swept back petals; some like Peeping Tom and Rapture are completely swept back bringing another dimension to the flower and garden.

These lovely flower bulbs will bring a little spring joy to the late winter garden, with one flower to a stem. Perianth segments significantly reflexed, flower at an acute angle to the stem, very short neck. Division 6 group.

Cyclamineus daffodil bulbs or narcissus are the smaller cousins of the taller varieties.

These small narcissus flowers are descendants of the Narcissus Cyclamineus bulb. A long yellow trumpet with petals stretching 180˚ backwards. Named after its distant cousin the cyclamen for its unique resemblance.

Some of this division, like Peeping Tom and Rapture retain the swept back petals bringing another dimension to the flower and garden. Whereas Jetfire are not as dramatic but still project their trumpet forward.

Within this group is the famous Tete a Tete narcissus, developed in 1949 by the breeder Alec Gray. This daffodil bulb has been a firm favourite ever since, and remains to be one of the biggest selling bulbs in the industry.

  • Cyclamineus daffodils - reflexed petals
  • Scented flowers
  • Miniature daffodils around 40cm high
  • Division 6 group
  • Good cut flowers
