  • Plant Galtonia in fertile, well-drained soil that is moist in the spring and summer months, in full sun. Cut off the flower spikes when they have finished and cover the crown with a thick mulch of leaf mould. Plant around 10-15 cm deep and allow around 30 per square meter.
