Gladiolus Byzantinus (True specie)
Delivery: End Aug to Feb
Rich Magenta marked with a white stripe on the petals, this is the true Gladioli Byzantinus and not the sub species byzantinus communis. This elegant Gladioli will happily naturalise and bring years of colour. The leave will emerge early and may in cold areas need a light mulch. This classical form is a beautiful hardy wildflower and will be equally at home in the wildflower meadow or the herbaceous perennial border, give it a naturalistic planting to show it at it’s best.
