  • Foxgloves (or Digitalis) like a light shady spot where they will happily naturalise. They will grow in most soils but do not tolerate wet or very dry conditions. The leaf can suffer a little from powdery mildew but they are generally fairly disease resistant. Foxgloves are poisonous so care should be taken that no part of the plant is eaten.
